Shot down during the Battle of Britain, and subsequently repaired and returned to service later in 1940, Spitfire P7350 suffered at least three further incidents during the war and was repaired each time. She was sold for scrap in 1947 but was restored to flying condition 20 years later for the film ‘Battle of Britain’ and is maintained today as one of the few examples of this most iconic of aircraft that still grace the skies.
This unique lapel badge has been cast and hand finished, by expert UK jewellers, from aluminium recovered from the original airframe during restoration, alloyed with hallmarked Sterling silver. Whether a gift for someone special, or a treat for yourself, it is a rare and exclusive item with unparalleled history and provenance.
